Pet Nutrition

A Bowl Filled with Love

We understand that fresh, whole food is a building block of overall health and wellness—for us and for our pets. We’re Moms and Dads who love and care deeply for our furry and human family, just like you.

We are committed to preserving the nutrition in our ingredients with gentle blending and careful low heat cooking. Just like cooking for your family at home, at Side by Side, we avoid artificial ingredients and over-processing, serving up the best nutrition possible.

Nutrition For A Better Life

Although many pet food manufacturers have options that start with decent ingredients, most use a high-heat extrusion process to turn meat, carbohydrates and fat sources into kibble that is shelf-stable for an extended period of time.  This robs even the best ingredients of their original nutritional qualities.  Commercial kibble simply can’t compare to the healthy benefits of feeding fresh whole foods.

We know you love your pets.
We know the science of good nutrition.

We start with all-natural, whole food ingredients your pet was meant to thrive on:

  • Fresh, all-natural proteins including chicken, duck, beef, rabbit and fish
  • Finely ground bones and organ meats such as hearts and liver – all natural high-quality sources of nutrients
  • Vegetables including vibrant greens, carrots & sweet potato, fruits such as apples, and healthy fats, herbs and supplements

Our recipes are developed in collaboration with a holistic veterinarian, credentialed in Eastern and Western medicine. Our food is prepared in small batches, and rigorously tested to verify the best nutrition delivery, caloric intake and food safety. Our recipes have no additives, no toxins and no carcinogens. None. Only the best for your best friend.
